Golden Key Award．Environmentally friendly
In order to provide tourists with more diversified accommodation options, Pingtung County Government launched the "Pingtung Golden Key Award" for the first time in Taiwan. The award has four categories of "age-friendly", "pet-friendly", "environmentally friendly" and "environmentally friendly".
From the design stage, the Wandering Walls has tried to preserve the original surrounding environment. The acacia forestsa and miscanthus grasslands have been completely preserved. We also do our best to reduce the use of plastics and do not provide disposable guest room supplies. Bath supplies are also made from natural materials of the AESOP and Zozola brands, and bottled mineral water is not provided in the room. In terms of meals, we have our own organic farm to produce vegetables, fruits and eggs. Organic farming methods can also reduce the carbon footprint of food, allowing guests and employees to eat healthier.
We are honored that the above-mentioned efforts have finally been recognized and won the Pingtung Golden Key Award in the environmental-friendly category. We also thank Pingtung County Government for its efforts in improving Pingtung’s tourism and accommodation industry. We are looking forward that the awards could make the quality and service of Pingtung hotels and B&Bs better, and make tourists experience the warm Pingtung.
