The Guide draws particular attention to its raw concrete——warm, curvaceous, and handmade in character. As a guest house with just seven rooms, the architecture becomes something guests can actually inhabit, experiencing the relationship between the building, the surrounding landscape, and the distant Taiwan Strait across its three floors.
