Information

Ocean Blue is perched on the third floor and offers a 24-square-meter indoor space with a private 9-square-meter balcony facing the vast Taiwan Strait—one of the most direct and intimate sea-view experiences at The Wandering Walls.

Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the ocean stretches out with no obstructions. Whether you're sitting by the window, lying in bed, or soaking in the bathtub, the shimmering waves and distant mountain silhouettes unfold before you, allowing your body and mind to gently drift with the rhythm of the sea.

At dusk, the sun slowly sinks into the Taiwan Strait, bathing the sky and water in golden-red hues—a breathtaking moment that defines the Ocean Blue experience. The balcony becomes the perfect front-row seat to witness this transformation, where guests can sit quietly, listen to the waves, and watch the sea shift colors as time softly flows by.

This room is more than just a space—it’s an open window to the ocean, a place to breathe in sync with nature. Ocean Blue isn’t just a color; it’s a state of mind where the soul finds quiet, spacious calm.

Artwork

This bell comes from the distant Swiss Alps, where it traditionally hangs from the necks of cattle as a cowbell used by local herders. To the Swiss, its sound is more than a tool for locating livestock—it is a memory carried on the wind, the steady rhythm of hooves across alpine meadows, the quiet breath of everyday life in the valleys.

When the winter winds of Hengchun sweep through the hills, the bell gently sways, releasing a sound from the far side of the world. Like an echo from the Swiss wilderness, it drifts softly into the room—transporting the listener from the edge of the sea to an imagined landscape of snow-capped peaks and rolling green pastures.

Sea and mountains, Taiwan and Switzerland, wind and sound—all converge across distance to create a quiet, meaningful dialogue. This is more than an artwork; it is a soundscape that invites you to listen deeply, to dream of faraway places. Some sounds, though born far away, have a way of settling quietly within us.
