Green Acacia

Green Acacia offers a warm and intimate 26-square-meter space. While it is the only one of The Wandering Walls’ seven rooms without a balcony, this unique feature enhances its sense of stillness and gentle enclosure. Its most distinctive highlight is a semi-open shower—inviting you to bathe while gazing into the surrounding acacia forest.
The curved architecture seamlessly integrates this semi-outdoor shower, allowing wind, light, and sound to flow in. At dawn, birdsong stirs the air; by afternoon, sunlight filters through the leaves; and by night, the quiet chorus of insects creates the illusion of a forest bath—all without ever leaving your room.
Inside, the design continues The Wandering Walls’ minimalist language: exposed concrete walls, warm wooden furnishings, and handwoven textiles. A large picture window opens directly to the trees, letting nature slip quietly into the everyday.
“Green Acacia” is more than a name—it’s a way of being. Here, words are unnecessary. Nature and the traveler meet in silent understanding.

A handcrafted chime from India, originally used in traditional healing spa rituals, emits a delicate and crystalline sound—carefully tuned to relax the body and guide the rhythm of breath. Quiet and unassuming in the space, it feels like a beam of soundlight drifting through a silent forest, gently awakening a sense of inner calm.
When the seasonal “Luoshan” winds of Hengchun pass through, the chime sways ever so slightly, releasing a soft, resonant tone—like the wind rustling deep in the mountains or echoing through distant treetops. The sound of the chime intertwines with the movement of acacia leaves outside, creating a silent dialogue between nature and the guest.
This piece is more than a decorative object—it is a sensory presence. It reminds us that sound can be a form of landscape, a kind of healing. In the Green Acacia room, each gentle ring of the chime becomes a quiet touch between the mountain wind and the soul.
